Former Oyo State governor, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, has officially been crowned as the 44th Olubadan of Ibadanland.
The installation took place on Friday, September 26, 2025, following the passing of his predecessor, Oba Akinloye Owolabi Olakulehin, in July.
His emergence is seen as a historic moment for Ibadan, Nigeria’s largest indigenous city, and also carries political significance due to his long influence in Oyo State.
